Thesis work, 30 credits (2 Students) - Agentic Conversion of Review Pipeline
Are you passionate about advancing how AI and automation can transform processes in clinical research? Join AstraZeneca’s innovative teams, where we apply leading-edge technologies and intelligent systems to ensure the highest standards and efficiency in medicine development. Collaborate with experts at the forefront of AI and digital transformation, contributing to safer and more reliable clinical trial outcomes.
About AstraZeneca:
AstraZeneca is a global, science-led, patient-centred biopharmaceutical company focusing on discovering, developing, and commercialising prescription medicines for some of the world’s most serious diseases. But we’re more than a global leading pharmaceutical company. At AstraZeneca, we're dedicated to being a Great Place to Work and empowering employees to push the boundaries of science and fuel their entrepreneurial spirit.
About the Opportunity:
AstraZeneca is developing a document review pipeline for clinical trial submissions that goes far beyond basic spell-checking and grammar correction. The aim is to flag more sophisticated review tasks, such as assessing consistency of messaging and neutrality of tone. As a thesis worker, you will design and develop an agentic system built on this pipeline, capable of intelligently selecting the most relevant review tasks based on both the document content and given instructions. Your solution will generate clear, user-oriented reports accessible even to users without AI expertise. This project gives you the chance to deepen your skills in generative AI and agentic systems, while gaining hands-on experience with the complexities of clinical trial documentation and review processes.
Structure:
- Duration: Spring term 2026
- Credits: 30
- Two thesis workers are required for this project
